Random Weekend Post: Karla Anderson

I stumbled across a copy of Canadian songwriter Karla Anderson’s new CD last night and was delighted to hear new music from an artist that has been on my mind a bit lately. I should have some thoughts on Karla and her new CD, Brand New Day once I’ve had a chance to digest the album a bit more.

For now, here’s a video featuring my favorite song from Karla’s 2005 release, The Embassy Sessions. Karla was named Best New/Emerging Artist at the Canadian Folk Music Awards that year.
